A Fight for Freedom

2013-12-09_0009Amber and I just finished off our unforgettable 2013 wedding season yesterday with a beautiful, snowy winter wonderland. It was a blast.. and freezing. {Check out more of Amber’s work HERE}

We dress up pretty much for every wedding and take our blacks and grays very seriously. :) We do our best to mix up the combos, but lets face it, holding to the fact that there’s pretty much a different crowd every wedding, we are often rolling in some days with the same outfit as the last three weeks. Maybe a new necklace for good measure.

Have you heard about Dressember?  The female combat to Movember? Wearing dresses in December to raise awareness and help fight sex trafficking through International Justice Mission? Dressember, started by Blythe Hill in 2009 as simply a fashion challenge for herself to wear a dress every day for the entire month of December, has now grown to become a massive movement with participants across the globe making a difference by raising money to fight human trafficking and sex slavery while representing freedom and beauty in femininity.

Amber and I wore dresses to support this yesterday. While we’re not doing it all month, theres a reason why I asked Amber to participate with me.

Amber and her husband Tyler are moving to the Czech Republic next year with a group of other passionate, visionary missionaries to work with human trafficking and sex slavery. Their hearts are SO big and so set on what God has called them to do for Him and His eternal Kingdom. Nothing stopping these two from conquering some of the hardest things to give God the most glory. I’m so excited to share with you their mission and the reality it is becoming.

Amber is a soul that can speak life, value, and worth into the heart of any woman, and I am so proud of her and Tyler for stepping out of their comfort zones to change lives for Christ and I cant wait to watch the way the Lord blesses them, their marriage and all the people they impact .
